Pictures of Flagstaff and the San Francisco Peaks!

This page is dedicated to showing the world how beautiful northern Arizona is. All of Arizona is NOT desert, as you will see from the pictures of lakes, forests, and most importantly, the San Francisco Peaks. Oh, yeah, I hear there is a place called Grand Canyon National Park... some big hole in the ground or something.
The San Francisco Peaks of Flagstaff, Arizona are the most prominent geographical form in the immediate region.
At 12,760 feet, this is the highest point in AZ - Humphrey's Peak!
The red "Indian" paintbrush and the yellow prickly pear bloom are representative of the diversity of the flora living in the northern area.
This picture is of the Peaks,  taken from Ashurst Lakes, one of the largest bodies of water near Flagstaff.

The far picture was taken from the Coconino County Forest through the tops of the ever-present Ponderosa pine trees.
