Danielle's World!
Danielle Arviso (1984- ) was born in Fargo, North Dakota. She relocated to Flagstaff, Arizona soon after. In 1992, she moved to MarineHighland, Illinois (a relatively small town 30 miles east of St. Louis). She moved back to Flagstaff in 1996 and attended (chronologically) South Beaver Elementary School, Flagstaff Middle School, and Mount Elden Middle School. Finally, she settled down at Northland Preparatory Academy. She will be one of four seniors graduating next year. Danielle's main interests lie in music and science, and she also dabbles in theatre. She has been playing the trumpet/cornet since 5th grade and currently is first in her school band. She has played as a guest artist for the Flagstaff Youth Orchestra. She will play any melodic music, but especially loves classical. Danielle has been her Drama Club's Stage Manager since 10th grade. That year the NPA Drama Club produced acclaimed Hamlet. As a junior, she stage managed Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. Danielle is very excited to be in MITE2S at MIT this summer and hopes that this will confirm her belief that she will become an aeronautical engineer. At present time, her number one university is Cornell University, followed by MIT and Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. She has also attended the Hugh O'Brian Leadership Seminar (HOBY) at Arizona State University in 2000, and was at Arizona Girl's State in 2001 at the University of Arizona. In addition, she has attended numerous academic activities at Northern Arizona University, which is in Flagstaff.
