Hey everybody. I miss all my MITE2S family so much. I'm so glad that so many of us are going to be in Cambridge, but I hope I will see all of the rest of you. MITE2S was a truly amazing experience, one that has helped me to reach so much that I never dreamed. My senior year was infinitely easier with the craziness of MITE2S behind me and I will never forget the times we had. Love to live and live to learn. Peace - Tanner |

Senior was extremely hectic and difficult keeping up with philanthropic activities, local college courses, and of course the tedious workload of high school, yet the stress has deeply been mitigated by life lessons taught by the opportunity MITES gave me for those 6 amazing weeks. It truly was a life changing experience. Each and every single one of you guys, truly left a deep impact on my motivation, future decisions, and outlook on life. I really miss everyone so terribly!!! looking forward to seeing you guys soon in Boston and around the area! |

MITES was one of the most challenging six weeks I have ever had. It was also one of the best six weeks. It was a great experience. I feel that if I survived those six weeks I can survive anything. Attending this program made my senior soo much easier.
This past summer I worked at a JAmba Juice chain in New York City- nothing compared to MITES, huh? Well, I figured I needed to give my brain a rest. I am currently a student at Vassar College and I am making the best of my experience here (So if any of u guys are in Poughkeepsie, let me know). But I truly miss all of my MITES buddies c/o 2004. I will always remeber you guys. Best of luck with everything. |

MITES changed my life! I will never forget MIT. The people I met, the experiences I lived, the future that I look forward to because of MITES. The yellow postcard speaks the truth, 'six weeks at MIT can change you life.' Without MITES schools like MIT, Stanford, Columbia, and Berkeley would have used my application as a coaster, but if you can survive MITES then people know you can survive just about anything! MITES and MIT hold a profound place in my heart. The MITES 04 family (the students, TAs, Matt M., Sandy T., and Karl R.) will always be with me. I am saying adios to California, and I am off to NYC and Columbia...woohoo!!!!!!!!! Peace! |

Taking Stat, Physics B, Eng lit., Macroecon, US gov, and Human geo. Mom and I literally cried through the decision making but in the end i decided to go to the big H (big surprise), although MIT will always be in my heart. Also accepted at Cornell and UF. Learn lots but more importantly, have fun. Much love. |

I have about 30 days left of high school and I can truly say that this year has been my best year of high school because of my experience at MITE2S. The work load has been significantly easier because of what I was exposed to at MITE2S. I have therefore had a lot more time to take advantage of all that Kent has to offer as well as more time to cultivate my friendships. I miss the MITE2S family alot- if anyone is ever in Philly call up the MITE2S office, get my contact info, and let's hang out! |
