| Life After MITE2S | After MIT, I enrolled in medical school at Cornell University in New York City. During that time, I spent two years in a neuroscience lab at Rockefeller University. I then took a residency in Pediatrics at a small community hospital in the Bronx affiliated with both Cornell and Columbia. I'm now in my second (of three) year as a Fellow in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. I've started my research years in the laboratory of Jeff Kocsis investigating the role of Neuronal Stem Cells as therapies for brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and long-term side effects of radiation. Although I'm in New Haven, CT, I've managed to start dating a PhD student at MIT. It's been nice to go back and visit! Feel free to contact me. |

| Life After MITE2S | I came to MIT as an undergrad, and then went off to seek my fortune in Silicon Valley. I did graduate school out there, and even got a taste of the startup experience. Now I'm back at MIT as a professor in EECS, where I've been since the fall of 2004. Interesting story: this summer I gave a 'guest lecture' for the MITES class of 2006. Amazing to look at those faces and think that we were in their places 15 years ago. |

| Life After MITE2S | Prior my MBA I worked as an R&D/Process engineer for 7 years in Med devices. 3 at Guidant in CA and 4 at BioStar (small diagnostrics co.) in Colorado. Now I'm back in school again. During the summer of 2006 I interned with Danaher Corp. at Hach Co. (water testing equipment) in Loveland, CO doing marketing strategy. Fall 2006 I studied abroad at IESE in Barcelona. And I'm currently trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life! Its great to hear what everyone's up to! |

| Life After MITE2S | I joined Northrop Grumman Space Technology in January 2003 after receiving a master's degree in Computer Science in 2002 from Stanford University. Prior to that, I held several engineering positions at Lucent Technologies in North Andover, Mass., from 1997 to 2001. At Lucent, I was responsible for embedded software development and integration and for high-bandwidth optical networking systems. At Northrup Grumman I am a senior member of the Ground Systems technical staff in Space Technology's Production and Supply Chain organization. I am responsible for developing software for equipment used to conduct manufacturing tests on flight circuit boards found in spacecraft such as the James Webb Space Telescope, the successor to the Hubble Space Telescope. In 2004, I received the Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) in the category of Most Promising Engineer of the Year. |

Got married to husband Jose in Dec. 2003 and had a beautiful baby daughter Gabriela in Oct. 2005 so she's almost a year now. My husband and I moved to Cincinnati to P&G Headquarters in July 2004 and have been here for the last 2 years. |
