I had a wonderful experience as a Fellow of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institue, in D.C. I worked as a translator with The San Juan Star. Decided to study Spanish-English translation. Currently working with the Office for Socioeconomic Financing and Empowerment of the Government of Puerto Rico, as Special Aide to the Coordinator General of the Office. |

Since 1998 I've been working as a network engineer at the nearby NASA Ames Research Center. This fall I'll try my hand at combining the research at Ames with the electrical engineering PhD program at Berkeley. Expecting minimal sleep. |
