| Life After MITE2S | I am currently a Product Manager with Motorola's BioChip Systems Division. The initial market for biochip technology is pharmaceutical companies, research facilities, and biotechnology firms, followed by medical diagnostics. I am also a former director of the MITES Program, and enjoyed many happy summers with the staff and students. We introduced the Enterpreneurship component to MITES in 1997, and many of the students have appreciated the exposure to business and e-commerce. |

| Life After MITE2S | After graduating from UC Berkeley, I worked for a small architectural firm in San Francisco, worked exclusively on the seismic retrofit of historic buildings in the Bay Area. After that I spent 6 years working as an Architect for the National Park Service (NPS). Four of those six years were spent working at Yosemite National Park taking care of over 400 historic structures in the park. I also had the opportunity to for NPS in New York and Washington D.C. My education and job experiences have also allowed me to work for several years as a project manager for Barney Skanska in New York City as well as for a real estate developer also in New York City. I am currently the Regional Historic Preservation Officer and Regional Fine Arts Officer for the U.S.General Services Administration, Public Building Service, Region 6; Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. |

Recently honored as the Atlantic Coasts Test Naval Flight Officer of the Year. Have flown over 35 types of aircraft to include F-18 B/D/F, A-6E, EA-6B, GR-1 Tornado, and F-16CJ. Have made several deployments to include tours over the Former Republic of Yugoslavia and Iraq. Currently heading back to the fleet to fly EA-6B's out of Washington State (Whidbey Island). |
